Traffic Advisories

The following FDOT traffic alerts have been announced in the City of Palm Beach Gardens:

Interstate 95

• SR 9/ I-95 over Donald Ross Road Bridge Painting Project : All lanes are open. Improvements consist of cleaning and painting the steel and concrete portions of the northbound and southbound I-95 bridges over Donald Ross Road. 

 I-95 may have a moving lane closure operation in various locations as needed, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday night Sept. 13, through Friday morning, Sept. 18, for pavement marker installation.

I-95 northbound at PGA Boulevard, in Palm Beach Gardens, may have the outside lane closed, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday night Sept. 13, through Friday morning, Sept. 18, for striping operations.

Maintenance, Utility, Permit & Additional Agency Projects

Traffic Impact:

Bridge work over the Earman River for Virgin Trains (formerly Brightline) will occur during daylight hours between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. through 2021. Work includes pile-driving operations to install a temporary platform for cranes and bridge construction.

Railroad Crossings at Lighthouse Drive and Burns Road: Day-time flagging operations, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., through Monday, September 21 for rail work. Crossings may be closed briefly (1-2 minutes) as trucks enter and exit Lighthouse Dr. and Burns Rd. 

• Military Trail and Hood Road may have daily shoulder closures in each direction, Monday through Thursday for directional boring operations.

Alternate A1A and Lake Victoria Gardens Avenue may have daily shoulder closures in each direction, Monday through Thursday, for directional boring operations. 

Eastbound PGA Boulevard between Avenue of Champions to 300’ ft West of Fairway Drive, 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, through Friday, Sept. 18, for manhole access for maintenance work.

Northbound North Military Trail between Northlake Boulevard and PGA Boulevard, 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, through Wednesday, September 30. 1 of 3 lanes closed, for manhole access. 

Southbound Highway A1A between Atlantic Road and Gardens Parkway, 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, through Friday, October 23. 1 of 3 lanes closed for pole removal and installation. 

Southbound Highway A1A between Lighthouse Drive and Richard Road, 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, through Friday, October 23. 1 of 3 lanes closed, for pole replacement and hand hole installation. 

Southbound Highway A1A between Lighthouse Drive and Hinda Road, 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, through Friday, October 30. 1 of 3 lanes closed, for pole replacement and hand hole installation.

Northbound North Military Trail between Northlake Boulevard and PGA Boulevard, 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, through Wednesday, Sept. 30, 1 of 3 lanes closed, for manhole access.

Southbound North Military Trail between Northlake Boulevard and South Mary Circle,  9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, Thursday, Sept. 17 through Friday, Nov. 13, 1 of 3 lanes closed, for directional boring and conduit installations.
