Amateur and professional photographers of all ages are invited to enter their best high resolution images celebrating our community in the City's Resident (and Student) Photography Contest! The contest is only open to residents and students of the City of Palm Beach Gardens and affords participants the opportunity to have their work showcased in a special exhibit in City Hall this fall. The deadline for entries is September 2, 2019 and can be submitted online at www.pbgfl.com/PhotoContest. Proof of residency is required. In preparation for Florida City Government Week in October, our photography contest celebrates the "Signature City" from the perspective of its residents & students. Each contestant may submit up to two (2) photographs in each of the four (4) categories listed: •iGardens (iPhone photos) •Beauty Abounds (Nature & Landscape in the City) •Digital Manipulation (Add an artistic layer to your photography with Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.) •PBG at Work & Play.
A reception will be held to reveal the finalists and present awards to contest winners on Tuesday, October 22 at 6 p.m. in the City Hall lobby located at 10500 N. Military Trail in Palm Beach Gardens. The photographs will be on display for the public October 14-December 19, 2019.
