These COOL activities will get your Independence Day FIRED up! So many ways to celebrate the 4th of July with the City of Palm Beach Gardens.

ATHLETICS

Cal Ripken Rookie State Baseball Tournament

For the 20th consecutive year, Cal Ripken will be hosting its Florida Rookie State Baseball Tournament (AGES 7 & 8) in Palm Beach Gardens.  Fifty teams from all over the state of Florida, Key West to Jacksonville and Tampa, will be converging in the City this week to battle for bragging rights and the state championship trophy.  With about 500 room nights sold for the tournament, the influx of 50 teams and their families will have big implications for the City’s hotels, restaurants, and other businesses.

JOIN THE FUN! “Independence” Mixed Doubles and Cook-out

In honor of Independence Day weekend we’ll play three rounds of 8-game Pro-set matches in ability-based groups. Trophies will be awarded to main-draw winners and finalists, and to consolation winners. After play, we’ll grill burgers and hot dogs (plus anything else you might want to bring and throw on!). “Firecracker” Adult Intensive Training

AQUATIC CENTER

Tuesday, July 4, 10:00 A.M.- 4:00 P.M.

SPLASH INTO THE 4TH! Celebrate the USA at the Palm Beach Gardens Aquatic Complex on Tuesday, July 4th from 10am – 4pm. Cool off in the main pool while enjoying the diving board, slide and rock wall, let the little ones play in the spray play area, or swim a few laps in our lap pool. There will be music and fun activities for the kids. Pool admission fees: PBG Residents - $3.55/Non-residents - $11.15
