Stormwater Infrastructure Mapping and Inspection Analysis
This project is designed to identify areas in need of immediate repairs, provide long term maintenance procedures and provide compliance with the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits and their requirements. Stormwater pipelines require regular cleaning, inspecting, evaluation, and repairs in order to ensure proper runoff and discharge to canal systems as required by the Clean Water Act. These activities prevent sedimentation in the canal systems and allow stormwater to flow freely from roadways and swales. The long term conditions and maintenance plan will help staff prioritize repairs to the aging stormwater pipes systems and will help establish guidelines for a more comprehensive maintenance program.
